The Talks

Throughout the engagement process for the Te Tauihu Intergenerational Strategy, a series of talks were held across the region which attracted over 1,000 participants and several thousand more through live streaming across social media.

These talks covered topics such as resilience, sustainability, future planning, courageous leadership and healthy communities. They featured local leaders, invited experts and contributors to the strategy.

This is the FINAL Te Tauihu Intergenerational Strategy. It was provided to the community of Te Tauihu (including business, Māori, local and central government, other agencies etc.) in DRAFT with an opportunity to provide feedback by 28 February 2020. All feedback was collated and considered, and the Steering Group of the Te Tauihu Intergenerational Strategy has approved the FINAL Strategy for publication as at November 2020. It is now up to each group, organisation or individual to determine how they may adopt, use, align or incorporate all or parts of the Strategy into their plans and projects moving forward.
